  • 若手研究(B), 2001 - 2002, 13710308, 日本語の指示表現に関する会話分析的研究, 須賀 あゆみ, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 奈良女子大学, 500000, 500000, 本研究の目的は、1)日本語母語話者による日常会話データの蓄積、2)会話における指示表現の分析、の2点であった。
    日常会話データに関しては、データ提供協力者による自然発生的な(無計画な)会話を収録し、昨年度との合計で約8時間分あまりを蓄積することができた。
    このデータを用いて日本語の指示表現を分析し、指示表現の文法が会話構造によってどのような制約を受け、話し手の指示表現の使用が進行中の会話の展開にどのような影響を与えるかについて考察を試みた。昨年度の成果である、ストーリーの聞き手のアセスメントに生じる指示表現の予測性への寄与について論文にまとめるとともに、今年度は、上記日常会話のコーパスと、電話での会話が収録された既製のコーパス(Call Home Japanese)を用いて、ア系の指示代名詞(「あれ」など)と、ソ系の指示詞(「それ」など)を対象に分析を行った。いずれのコーパスにおいても、ア系の指示詞は話し手と聞き手の共有知識を表し、ソ系の指示詞は話し手と聞き手のいずれかまたは両方が知らないものを指すといった、コアとなる機能が見られるが、会話分析の視点から特に興味深いこととして、話し手が自分の意図した指示対象を聞き手が認識しているかどうかを確認するために、挿入的あるいは追随的な発話連鎖が生じる傾向かあることが観察できた。これは、指示対象の同定に関するネゴシエーションの過程を経て、話し手が指示表現を選択するといった側面を示していると言える。日常会話の映像では、その間話し手が聞き手に視線を送っているのが確認できるが、視覚情報に依存できない電話での会話との差違の詳細に関しては、今後さらに追究していきたいと考えている。, kaken
