• Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Apr. 2021 - Mar. 2025, 21K00458, Principal investigator, 近代奈良県における書物文化環境の実態解明, ISOBE Atsushi, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Nara Women's University, 1820000, 1400000, 420000, 本研究の目的は、幕末から戦後直後まで対象とした現在の奈良県域における書物・雑誌・新聞等印刷物の印刷・製本・出版・流通・小売の分布状況と活動の実態を解明することにある。申請者は、2017〜2020年度基盤研究（C）課題「出版流通史的分析による近代奈良県の書物文化環境の解明」（研究代表者は本研究申請者の磯部敦）において、近代奈良県域における印刷業者、出版業者、図書館等のリストアップをおこなった。本研究はそれを引き継ぎ、さらなるリストの充実をはかるとともに、前課題において明らかになった注目すべき地域や時代、具体的には、明治初期における教科書流通に関与した書肆や人物、御所や五條など奈良県西部における大阪書肆との関わり、奈良市田原地区における新聞流通と青年団の関与などを重点的に調査する。そして、関西圏における書物や新聞、雑誌流通の一事例としてモデル化し、他地域考察における出版流通史研究のアプローチ方法を提案する。, url

Therefore I created a list of printers, distributors, publishers, retailers, and book collectors, located in the area of present Nara Prefecture from the end of the Edo period to the period immediately after the World War II. By arranging them in chronological order, we were able to grasp their ups and downs at a glance. This made it possible to easily grasp the environment for receiving books, etc. in the area and the activity period of related companies.

  constituting the printed surface and the book has prepared, and the standard format of the book has established.(1) The combination of Min style type and Hiragana type let down the relationship between typeface of woodcut book in the Edo period and genre, style. As a result, this combination became the standard typeface in the type print books since the latter half of the Meiji era.(2) The use of punctuation marks came to be done at the forefront of the field facing the language itself, such as translating foreign languages and exploring new written words.(3) In general, the replication technique called shikei (paper type) is thought to compensate for preservation of the original which is a weak point of typographic printing, but in the case of type printing in the first half of the Meiji period, it was also a device for generating different editions., url

In analyzing, used Business Guides in National Diet Library. The analytical results are threefold. First, it requires attention in using the articles of Business Guides because the source for numeric data and concrete examples is uncertain. Second, though, these articles are valuable in important records because those are recorded a matter unrecorded in primary and second materials. • 特別研究員奨励費, 2005 - 2007, 05J10060, 明治時代を中心とした、書籍の製産・流通・享受に関する研究, 磯部 敦, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 国文学研究資料館, 2200000, 2200000, 1.前掲「研究発表」(1):自他楽会とは、明治20年代、弘前の和徳小学校の教員たちを中心に結成された読書グループである。書籍の購入や貸し付けを記録した内部史料は、現在、弘前市立弘前図書館に収蔵されている。基幹研究「十九世紀の出版と流通」研究班が同史料の調査・翻刻をおこない、その成果をここに公表。磯部は、明治29年『記録簿』『会計簿』『書籍貸付簿』の翻刻を担当した。
  2.前掲「研究発表」(2):文栄堂とは、昭和19年まで活動が確認できる、京都の仏書屋である。その文栄堂の営業文書13点が京都大学附属図書館に収蔵されている。今回は、そのなかの『新本売買明細帳』甲乙を採り上げ、同文書の分析をとおして書籍の品揃え・仕入れ・卸し・小売りの実態を報告。(a)真宗関係の書籍、なかでも安定した需要が見込める『和讃』や『勤行集』などの実用書を積極的に取り扱っていること、(b)つきあいの浅い新興書肆との取り引きは、買い取りではなく「預かり売り」というかたちでおこなわれていたこと、(c)浄土真宗系の仏書屋ではあるが、教義テキストを取り扱うばあいは、真言宗など他宗寺院も取り引きしていたことなどを明らかにした。
  3.前掲「研究発表」(3):これまでの日清戦争研究において、一枚刷りや紙製玩具のような消耗品が採り上げられるごとはまずなかったといってよいし、街角や絵双紙屋前のざわめきに耳を傾けることもまた、なかったといってよい。本稿は、日清戦争期において、子どもたちがどのような情報環境にあったのかを検証したものである。同時代を生きた人びとの日記や随筆をもとに、子どもの目線からみた学校や絵双紙屋、街の様子など日常の生活空間を再構築し、子どもたちにとっての日清戦争はお気楽な祭りでしかなかったことを裏付けた。, kaken
