• Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Apr. 2021 - Mar. 2026, 21K11361, Principal investigator, Sociological Studies on the Heritage of the Tokyo Olympics., 石坂 友司; 小澤 考人, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Nara Women's University, 4160000, 3200000, 960000, 本研究は東京オリンピックの遺産（レガシー）がどのように生み出されたのか、大会後の経年変化を踏まえ、開催計画の検証と地域ではじまる諸実践の現地調査（質的調査）、社会調査（量的調査）を通じて社会学的に明らかにするものである。オリンピックの遺産とは、開催の過程、開催後の足取りを経て地域に生み出されていくものである。開催計画が描いた青写真がどれだけ実現されたのかを大会後に検証することを目的とする。
  東京大会はコロナ禍で一年延期の末、2021年7月に開催された。オリンピック史上初めて延期を経験した大会として、開催意義が問い直されてきた大会でもあり、住民の評価にも変化がみられていることが予想される。また、無観客開催になったことで、都市や地域に生み出されると見込まれた遺産の多くが不透明にならざるを得なかった。このように、世界的、歴史的にも類を見ない東京大会の独自性と、都市における影響の多様性を長期間にわたって検証し、国際的比較をも可能にすることが本研究の目的である。
  筆者らがこれまでのオリンピック研究から形成してきた「オリンピック遺産の評価枠組み」をもとに、経年的に、行政などが発行しているさまざまな統計指標の収集・評価を行う。そのうち、2021年度は大会開催を同時進行的にとらえながら、開催時の競技場利用や世論の動向、予算面における推移について情報収集を行った。また、大会後はホストタウンに選ばれたいくつかの地域を訪問し、担当者への聞き取り調査を実施した。, kaken
